The project of the “Ginkgo Expo” interior defines the study of the exhibition area, therefore it needs to create a dynamic space able to create articulated and continuous surfaces. In order to fulfil this need we studied the stair that connects the first and second floors located at the centre of the volume, being it a vertical path characterized by the combination of inclined planes designed to create a sculptural path. The staircase becomes the fulcrum of the project around which the various spaces meant to hold offices and services are organized. The interior is covered, the flooring is made of sandstone and the walls are wooden, therefore creating noble surfaces with pale ceilings. The ceilings are characterized by long cuts that accomodate the lights teamed with punctual lighting systems.
