Independent units consisting of simple metallic frames and smooth marble surfaces create the free and consistent shapes of the SEATS seating system. Each element is independent and can be combined with other units of the same family to create continuous sequences on an organic growth matrix.
Their shapes recall the organic growth and the growth sequences of natural organisms that create complex shapes starting from a unit cell. From the unicellular primary element, they evolve by freely disassembling and re-assembling, following their natural laws, creating surprising complex combinations from simple shapes.
The choice of marble surfaces and of their colours allows to create a pleasant overall effect that relates the peculiarity of every unit to the seating system. The marble surfaces are designed to get a comfortable seating and the light structure, made of slender steel elements, enhances their function and lightness. Together or isolated, identical or different, the Flora seating system adds value to the interior design and gives lightness to the transition spaces. The assembled units give value to the space where they are located, allowing pleasant chromatic combinations and creating an alternative to the traditional seat. They are useful and friendly, and they complete the interior design project with sober lightness.
