The ‘Ninfa’ series is a Carrara marble bathroom collection with a contemporary design. It is a proposal of three shape models for water. Water flows like time, it materializes in the subsoil, reveals itself in the source and goes through our life, precious and necessary.
The Ninfa project is a system of simple and sculptural marble volumes, characterized by two inspiring elements: a shaft and a basin. The shaft brings up the basin as the column leads up the pulvinus.
In the vertical fluting, the shaft recalls the archetype of the column, or of one of the column drums of the classical architecture.
Both shaft and basin are made of marble; marble from different places, to create different effects and colours.
To create unique effects, there is a range of three basins with three different designs, which give meaning to the simple system made of shaft and shape for water: the first basin is the section of a hollow cylinder, the second is an overturned conical frustum and the third a semi-ellipse volume.
The combination of three basins and three columns makes it possible to vary between materials with consistent two colors or to keep the single-material for both. Stone and water, nothing else.
