MONET L&L

China Shanghai 2010

The project includes the study of a building complex located in Pudong (Shanghai) designed to house an hotel, a mall and offices. The lot is characterized by a body of water on the front that inspired the volume. The shape is inspired by the petals of the lotus flower and it fits with the continuous search for organic morphology. The study includes a complex characterized by four volumes with specific purposes organized around a square. The single buildings are characterized by an internal cavity that forges a strong connection between indoor and outdoor, artificial and natural.
